- Scanning, brute force or unauthorised access attempts against third parties
- Launching denial-of-service attacks, or BGP hijacking and route leaks
- Illegal content under the laws of India or of the country where the data is held
- Large-scale copyright infringement
- Cryptocurrency mining on shared compute (VPS); mining is permitted on dedicated servers only with prior written approval
- Any use that harms other customers, the network or Joy
2. Email
Outbound port 25 is closed on new accounts to protect the address space. It is opened by ticket for accounts in good standing that describe their mail setup (SPF, DKIM, reverse DNS). Port 587 through provider relays works immediately. Sending must be authenticated and consented.
3. Network
Transit customers must hold a Letter of Authorisation and RPKI ROAs for prefixes they announce. IRR data must be accurate; filters are generated from it nightly. Blackhole community 152565:666 is for addresses under attack in your own space only.
4. Reporting abuse
Send reports to support@joycloud.services. They are acknowledged automatically and reviewed within one business day. Include timestamps in UTC, source and destination addresses, and logs.
5. Enforcement
We may suspend a service immediately where continued operation would harm others, the network or Joy, and otherwise after notice. Suspension or termination for a violation carries no refund and fees remain due. Repeated or serious violations lead to account closure.
