Joy Storage is the storage layer we built for our own products first. The same buckets carry 1tbShare transfers and the CDN's preload manifests, and the same NVMe pools hold every VPS disk and snapshot on the Compute Fabric. Opening it to customers means you get storage that lives in the region you already deploy to — Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, Singapore or the US West Coast — reachable over the private backbone from your servers and over the public internet from everywhere else.
Two products sit behind one console page. Object storage gives you S3-compatible buckets with the API you already use: existing tooling such as the AWS CLI, rclone, restic or any S3 SDK works by changing the endpoint. Lifecycle rules expire or tier objects automatically, and a bucket can be put directly behind the Joy CDN so a public prefix is served from the edge without an origin server. Block volumes are NVMe volumes that attach to a VPS in the same region for databases and media that outgrow the root disk; they are resized live and survive a reinstall of the server they belong to.
Both are in build today. What you can use right now are the pieces that are live on every server: free NVMe snapshots from the console or API, and off-node backup space in 10 GB steps at the component price shown on the pricing page. S3-compatible from day one
Buckets speak the S3 API, so backup tools, static-site deployers and application SDKs connect by changing the endpoint and keys. Access keys are scoped per bucket and can be rotated from the console; signed URLs let you hand out time-limited downloads without exposing a key.
Disaster recovery and backups
Lifecycle rules, versioning and cross-region replication between Indian regions and Singapore keep a second copy of what matters. Backup space for full-VM backups is available today and scheduled from the server page.
One layer for object, block and file
Buckets for unstructured data, NVMe volumes for databases, and a file gateway on the roadmap — provisioned from the same console, billed on the same invoice and reachable over the private backbone from any Joy server.

Three steps
Create a bucket or volume
Pick the region, a name and whether the bucket is public. Access keys are generated at once; volumes attach to a server you choose.
Connect your tools
Use the S3 endpoint with any S3 client or SDK, or mount the volume from the server page. Lifecycle and replication rules are optional and can be added later.
Serve, replicate, expire
Put a prefix behind the CDN, replicate to a second region, and let lifecycle rules retire old objects. Usage is metered daily and invoiced monthly in your currency.
